Major UAE airlines have implemented sweeping flight suspensions across multiple Middle Eastern destinations as regional tensions escalate. Carriers including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia have grounded services to at least nine countries following airspace closures in conflict-affected zones.

The travel disruptions come amid heightened security concerns across the region. Aviation authorities confirmed widespread cancellations affecting routes to Iran, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon, with additional impacts on flights transiting through neighboring airspaces.

Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the world's busiest aviation hubs, reported significant operational challenges. Flight information displays showed dozens of cancelled departures and arrivals throughout Friday, primarily affecting connections to Tehran, Baghdad, Amman and Beirut.
